Alpha Bible Study
Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. The sessions focus around a video and is followed by small group discussions about the video topic. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone is welcome.
BIBLE BY THE POND
Led by Pastor Ray Crawford, this class is held at the Central Campus Bill Moss Memorial Sunrise Pavilion. We’ll read the miraculous stories of parting seas, giant fish, and conversations had while enjoying water from a well. How is God still using the water miracles of the Bible to speak to us today?
This class will focus on making crafts that link to bible verses. Laurie Ault will teach the first 5 weeks on pottery & Robin Thompson will lead the last 5 weeks with the story and making of Chrismons. The participant will keep their final creations. Must be over 16 years of age. Materials for the class are provided.
Led by Pastor Tim McHugh, this ten week course is on the what, when, where, why, and hows of prayer including a 21 day prayer challenge and the breakdown of The Lords Prayer. We will focus on personal discipline, family prayer, intercessory prayer and even write our own prayers.
This class is led and taught by Megan Rhine is a psycho-educational process group that explores the importance of healthy communication and grace in parenting. We will discuss themes of parenting as found in the Bible, learn a new skill, and have group discussion.
