Confirmation allows 6th-grade students an opportunity to enter into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
In the United Methodist Church, confirmation refers to the decision a person makes to respond to God’s grace with intentional commitment, publicly reaffirming his or her baptismal vows before the congregation. At Claremore FUMC, we offer a deliberate time of preparation for this decision.
Sixth grade students meet during the school year on Sunday mornings @ 9:45 in room 210 of the Children’s Center. The next confirmation class will start August 27th. If your child would like to be involved in the confirmation process, please contact Lynn Youngs at 918-341-4580, ext. 325 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Confirmation is a fun and meaningful experience in which students grow in their faith.
Upward Sports is the world’s largest Christian-based sports league for children. This first-class sports program gives kids a fun sports experience, healthy competition, and skills training while developing the whole person.
Kindergarten through sixth graders are invited to play flag football in the fall, and soccer in the spring. Cheerleading is available in both seasons. All practices and games take please on the dedicated sports fields at our Highway 88 campus.
