2018 Fall Bible Study – published August 6, 2018
Several opportunities for spiritual growth are available beginning this fall.
Disciple Bible Study
Disciple is series of a thirty-two or thirty-four week Bible study programs. It is recommended that Disciple I is taken first, but after the first course, the remainder can be taken in any order. This year all four Disciple Bible Study courses are being offered at First United Methodist Church. Orientation meetings are being held at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, August 19 at Central Campus. Register here.
Disciple I is being lead by Dr. Ray Crawford
Disciple II is being lead by Gene Haynes
Disciple III is being lead by David Osborn
Disciple IV is being lead by Angela Henderson
Each course is an in-depth study that features daily readings, a weekly class with a short video and small group discussions. People who have taken Disciple say it has helped them put the Bible in perspective, enhanced their understanding of the Scriptures, and provided friendships that have lasted for years.
Beginning September 5th Alpha is being offered on Wednesday evenings at Central Campus. Alpha is a weekly get together where friends share a meal and talk about life and faith. The guided discussions help us learn more about ourselves and why we are here. Learn more and sign up by clicking here.
