Robbie, part of our Tuesday night Celebrate Recovery community, is facing a heart transplant. You can help Robbie and have a fun Saturday afternoon. Join us from 2:00 to 5:00, Saturday, May 5 in the Family Life Center at Central Campus for food, music, and an amazing auction.
We’ll have a silent auction from 2:00 to 4:00 (see a few of the auction items below). There will be a gun raffle, and we’ll raffle off some tickets to a Dallas Cowboy football game (including parking passes). Bring your appetite! You’ll want to purchase items from the fabulous bake sale. The live music will be amazing!
There is something for everyone! Here are just a few of the items to be auctioned off: Dallas Cowboy tickets, several guided fishing trips, free taxidermy work, helicopter tour, several theme baskets which include massages, pedicure, manicure, eyelashes, hair cuts, auto detailing, oil changes, and many more exciting items.
Robbie’s Transplant Journey
“My journey to a new heart has been a long, and sometimes, hard road! February 19, 2005, I had my first heart attack, and almost 13 years later, my doctors decided it’s time for me to have a new heart!
WOW! What an amazing God I serve! He has sustained me, strengthened me, and snatched me from death’s door countless times over these past years. And I know without a doubt that he intends for me to be about HIS business!
I am so thankful, not only to God, but to every person who has helped me and my family emotionally, spiritually, and financially! The astronomical costs of hospital stays, traveling expenses, relocating after the transplant, traveling back and forth to Dallas for years to come, and ungodly cost of medications, is beyond overwhelming! The goodness and generosity that I have seen and received from family, friends, church family, and amazingly, people I don’t even know, has completely melted my heart! Thank you cannot express our gratitude for your love and support, but thank you ALL so much! We love you more than words can express!
