The Book of James by Max Lucado
This twelve-week class is based on Life Lessons: The Book of James, which will take place Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 at the Central Campus. It begins July 5 and runs through September 20. The study guide costs $10. Facilitators are Debi Reynolds and David Towery. Sign up online by clicking here.
In the study guide’s introduction, Max Lucado says, to James “Christianity was more action on Monday than worship on Sunday.” The book of James is a practical manual for living the Christian life. James wanted the Christian to be genuine, do good works, and be good people. This study will dive deep into the word of God through James’ ideas about how Christians should live their lives.
Max Lucado does a great job of connecting scripture from James to real-life situations. His usual inspirational storytelling and thought-provoking questions will undoubtedly result in great group discussions. The guide includes scripture in appropriate translations, prayer, and room for journaling. If you have questions please contact Debi at 918-884-8350 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
