Parents are invited to hangout with the youth every Sunday night but from time to time, we need extra help.  Those extra needs will be listed here.

“Beyond Me Mission” – June 10-15

We will be needing Small Group Leaders to spend the week with our youth as they help set up the Dream Center in north Tulsa then provide a Backyard Bible School in Claremore. Youth and leaders will be sleeping, eating and worshiping at the church and showering at shower houses during the week. It will be inspiring to see how hard our youth work and worship!

Shower Houses will provide a place for our youth and Waxahatchie youth to clean up. You can provide a light snack if you want. They might want to watch movies or play board games will they wait their turn. Please ask your church friends and relatives to consider providing this service to our youth.

Cooks and other helpers – This is not as big as Youth Force but we will still need lots of parental support. If you can help work a lunch station, provide snacks, or some other service for this event, please contact Jaimie.

Small Group Leaders for District Camp – July 9-13

Camp Egan has always provided a deeply spiritual experience for our youth. You are invited to be a part of that experience by being a small group leader. There is no cost for adult small group leaders. You will get as much out of this week as our kids as you will meet youth from all over the district.

Youth Boutique

The Youth Boutique will be open the 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month.  Money made from the boutique will be used for youth activities throughout the year.  If you have faith-inspired items that you can donate to the boutique, please leave them in the youth office or the main office with a note that reads “Youth Boutique.”  Also, keep the Youth Boutique in mind when you are giving gifts or want a little something for yourself.

Upcoming YPAC Meetings –

June 3

All NextGen parents are invited to attend YPAC meetings.  We discuss upcoming youth events and ways that parents can actively support our youth group.  YPAC meetings usually take place on the 2nd Sunday of the month at 3:30 pm in one of the Sunday school classrooms of the Family Life Center.  When there is a holiday or other special event the date is changed (Mothers Day, Fathers Day, etc.).
