To Save a life begins September 7
Generation Next student ministry will enter an 8-week, small-group study called “To Save a Life.” They will begin with the showing of the movie by the same name on Wednesday, September 7th, from 6:30 to 8:30. Beginning September 14, the small groups will meet Wednesdays from 6:30-8pm.
The study will look into the life of an all-star athlete who has to make some decisions when his life starts to spiral out of control. His child hood friend commits suicide, his girlfriend becomes pregnant, his parents want a divorce, and his friends ridicule him for seeking change. This movie is rated PG-13 because it covers so many real life topics.
Our students will watch the movie together, then over the next 7 weeks, they will engage in real conversation about some very tough issues. We have done this study twice in the last 6 years and it’s time to do it again. If parents or students have any questions about this study, please contact Jennifer Willis at firstname.lastname@example.org or 918-341-4580, ext. 304.
