    CONFIRMATION Sunday!

    Time: 11:00 AM

    The day we've all been waiting for!  This is a huge celebration for confirmands, parents, friends and family (yes, you mentors too).  During the 11:00 service in the sanctuary, if confirmands choose, they will profess their faith to the congregation and join the church!  It is inspiring to see so many young people sharing their faith. Lunch for confirmands and their families (mentors are invited to lunch as well) will follow in the FLC.  At 5:00 youth are invited to the GenNext youth group in the FLC.

    Poland Team Mission Concert

    Time: 6:30 PM

    In the Sanctuary.   Join us for a delightful praise experience as the Poland Mission team presents an evening of beautiful music.  A love offering will help pay expenses for the mission team.    The team is heading to Poland May 31-June 9, 2012.  They will be singing and witnessing in churches, schools, and prisons across NW Poland.  Richard Rath is leading the music team.  They will be working with Pastor Slawomir Rodaszinski.  They will offering a concert for the Poland Annual Conference.

    Kitchen Clean Up and Organization

    Time: 8:00 AM

    Help Alisa clean and organize our kitchen! Our kitchen is used a lot!  It is used by various groups several times each week.  As you can imagine, things tend to get put way in various places, storage spaces tend to get a little over utilized, and lots of funny things can happen when so many different people are using one space at so many different times.  Our wonderful kitchen coordinator, Alisa Drake, is asking for a little help in reigning in the chaos (actually it is never really chaotic because Alisa is just that amazing!). June 2nd and 9th, Alisa is having Clean Up and Organize Days in the Family Life Center kitchen.  Call Alisa at 918-640-5099 or email adrake@claremorefumc.org to sign up!

    "Beyond Me" Missions

    Vacation Bible Camp

    Time: 9:00 AM

    Dive in and discover God’s underwater universe! Explore the depths of God’s Word at VBC 2012 with Operation Overboard – Dare To Go Deep With God! In this action-packed adventure, kids will swim with humpback whales and seahorses, scuba through a vibrant coral reef, and take a personal submarine to the ocean floor, where eels and octopi play.

    CYME Leadership Camp

    District Camp for Youth

    Time: 12:00 AM

    Costs TBD. Leaving TBD. Mark your calendars with District Camp dates because you will not want to miss the spirit-filled beauty of Camp Egan.  Every year youth grow closer to each other and closer to God.  You will be hanging out with kids from all over the district -- they will be your new best friends by week's end.  Keep checking back for details.

    VIM Mission to Achacachi Bolivia

    Costa Rica Mission 2012

    Time: 12:00 AM

    Construction and Vacation Bible School Mission Please be in prayer for our mission team of 29 as they continue construction of our sister church in Costa Rica.  In addition to construction, they will be conducting a vacation Bible school.  Joining the team will be our own worship band The Saving Motion.  The Saving Motion will be sharing their musical gifts in several concerts in addition to contributing their construction skills and helping with VBS.
