To begin the season of Lent, FUMC will hold our Ash Wednesday service in the Santuary. Traditionally, Ash Wednesday is a day of fasting.

Confirmand/Mentor Meeting

Time: 6:00 PM

Confirmands, it is time to meet your mentors!!!  Confirmands, parents and mentors we will begin by worshipping at the Ash Wednesday service.  After the service, confirmands will meet their mentors. Confirmation is an exciting process of education and faith building.  We don't want our confirmands to miss a single opportunity to grow in their relationship with God.

William Jewell College Handbell Choir

The William Jewell College Handbell Choir from Liberty, MO,  will be making a stop at Owasso FUMC 13800 E 106th Street North,  Owasso, OK.

Winter Jam Youth Event

Time: 1:00 PM

Military Support Ministry Meeting

Meeting in Fellowship Hall. Red Cross Blood Drive

The American Red Cross with conduct a blood drive on Sunday, March 4 in the Fellowship Hall.  Signup sheets will be in Disciple Hall beginning February 12.  Share your LOVE this season!

CONFIRMATION - Mystery Ramble

This mystery ramble will take place in the Tulsa area.  We ask confirmands to collect clothing and food items before this event.  What is this all about?   It's a mystery, duh!  Just show up and have fun.

This is an important meeting for Confirmands, their parents and mentors.  We will all meet in the sanctuary to discuss sacraments.  Don't know what sacrements are?  No worries -- that's why you are going to this very important meeting!  See you there.

CONFIRMATION Sunday!

Time: 11:00 AM

The day we've all been waiting for!  This is a huge celebration for confirmands, parents, friends and family (yes, you mentors too).  During the 11:00 service in the sanctuary, if confirmands choose, they will profess their faith to the congregation and join the church!  It is inspiring to see so many young people sharing their faith. Lunch for confirmands and their families (mentors are invited to lunch as well) will follow in the FLC.  At 5:00 youth are invited to the GenNext youth group in the FLC.

Vacation Bible Camp

District Camp for Youth

Costs TBD. Leaving TBD. Mark your calendars with District Camp dates because you will not want to miss the spirit-filled beauty of Camp Egan.  Every year youth grow closer to each other and closer to God.  You will be hanging out with kids from all over the district -- they will be your new best friends by week's end.  Keep checking back for details.

VIM Mission to Achacachi Bolivia
