    Poland Mission Trip

    A team from FUMC Claremore will be traveling to Chodziez, Poland to work in construction and conduct a Vacation Bible School for the children there.  Please be in prayer for this team as God uses them to make a Christian difference in the world.

    In the parlor.  Coffee and Connections is an opportunity for people new to our church or those who have been here a while but are curious about how we do things at FUMC Claremore.  Join us in the parlor at 11:00 on May 26.  We will talking about the many opportunities available to the children of our church.  Leaders of Stepping Stones Learning Center and Kingdom Kids Children's Ministries will be available to share information about programs for our kids.  A tour of the Children's Center will be included.

    Kidfest Applications Due

    Time: 12:00 AM

    Registration for Kidfest Sonsation Stay-Cation is due today. All it takes to experience an amazing summer vacation is to sign up for Kidfest summer fun!  Spend your days with weekly chapel, community missions, fun class activities, daily recreation, crafts, field trips and MORE! Kindergarten - 4th grade will take field trips to the Tulsa Zoo, Blue Bell, Claremore Lake, Nature Reserve, Bowling, Movies and many more! Kidfest is for children ages 1 through 4th grade (in fall 2013).  It will take place July 8 - July 11 and July 15- July 18 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.  To enroll, complete the Kidfest application and turn it into the Stepping Stones Learning Center Office.  Contact Jennie Howard by calling the church office at 918-341-4580 or email her at jhoward@claremorefumc.org Camp fees are:  $185 tuition and $30 activity fee (Multi-family member discount is $5 off per child).

    Youth! Youth Force in Owasso

    Time: 8:00 AM

    Youth (grades 7-12)!  This year Youth Force will be in Owasso.  It may seem close, but it is a world of working for others, making new friends from all over and worshipping God.  This is a great mission trip.  It is a great way to be of service to others and also a great way to have a lot of fun!  Cost is $185.  Contact Jaimie at the church to learn more about Youth Force and to get signed up.     YOUTH! District Camp

    Time: 8:00 AM

    Bartlesville District Camp at Camp Egan is always a special, spiritual experience for our youth (grades 7 - 12).  They break up into small groups, fellowship with youth from other churches.  They grow closer to each other and closer to our Lord.  Cost is $250 for youth. Adults are needed.  The cost for adults is only $50.  Please prayerfully consider giving your time to our youth. For more information, please contact Jaimie at the church.

    1st & 2nd Graders - Sonshine Camp

    Time: 8:00 AM

    Early elementary campers enjoy a taste of hiking, swimming, crafts and active learning in small groups under the caring and watchful eye of shepherds and leaders. All activities and creative worship in this overnight camp are geared for this younger age-level. After this fun camping experience, children will want to return to camp year after year.     6th Graders - Tweens Discover Camp

    Time: 8:00 AM

    Acknowledging the uniqueness of pre-t'weens, this camp for rising sixth graders is designed to help t'weeners explore the concept that God is always with us. In "Got Spirit" campers will explore different ways God reveals God's self to the human family, by affirming God's presence in the ordinary moments of life. Not only will campers discover how God is found in daily scripture texts, they will experience the various ways that people of faith respond to the presence of God. All within the beauty of creation and fun in each of Camp Egan. Please contact Stephen Cagle at the church for more information and costs.

    Children Grades 3-5 - Growing in Grace Camp

    Time: 8:00 AM

    Older elementary campers have the opportunity to experience God's love in God's beautiful creation over this three day; two night camp. In addition to hiking, swimming, recreation, and crafts, campers participate in interactive small group learning and creative worship. During these many experiences, campers build relationships with new friends from other churches around the state that continue as they return to camp year after year.     World-Wide Marriage Encounter

    Time: 8:00 AM

    July 26-28, Wichita, KS.

    According to their website, “The focus of Worldwide Marriage Encounter is on communication between husband and wife. It is an opportunity to spend a weekend together away from the distractions and the tensions of everyday life and to concentrate on each other as a couple. It's not a retreat, nor a marriage clinic, nor group sensitivity. It's a unique approach aimed at revitalizing Christian Marriage.” The next weekend is being offered on July 26-28, 2013 in Wichita, KS. The application fee is $50 per couple.
