What is Ground Floor?
Have you been searching for a spiritual experience that’s as real as you are? That’s relevant to your everyday life? That’s exciting & inspirational? And that meets you when and where you feel comfortable? You’re not alone.
There are many others like you that have been searching for a unique opportunity to express their faith and love for Jesus with food, friends, modern music and a relavent message all held in a comfortable atmosphere.
FUMC has several diverse worhsip opportunities each week, but something was missing. There was a need still unmet… That’s why we founded GroundFloor! We’re a group of sinners looking to genuinely connect with our creator & one another in a real way. Every week we eat, share, & celebrate together in an energetic & passionate faith experience. Although our music and worship style appeals mostly to 20-35 year olds, we have a diverse range of ages and people from all walks of life that attend and we invite you to join us!
What else can I do?
There are several opportunities to help take your experience beyond worship. Here’s a few you might enjoy and/or find helpful:
Food & Fellowship
- 5:30pm: Every week before service, we offer free pizza and drinks to anyone who’d like to come early, eat and visit!
Small Groups
- 5pm Group: We have a small group of diverse people that meet every Saturday before service at 5pm to visit together, pray together and to share life together. If you’d like to be involved, all you need to do is… Show up! We’re open and would love to have you! We meet in the church Parlor room.
- 7pm Group: Just following service, there is a second small group opportunity. This group is made up of primarily college-aged people, but everyone is welcome! If you’d like to join this group all you need to do is show up! They meet in the Family Life Center Rm 202 just accross from where GroundFloor is held.
- 5pm-8pm: If you have small kids they are welcome to join us for worship! But, if you’d like a break from parenting to focus on your small group and/or worship experience, we have trained nursery staff on hand to watch your children! If you have any questions or concerns prior to bringing you kidos, please feel free to give us a call M-Th | 9-5 or email nursery@claremorefumc.org
